administration issues and choice of subjects. We also have a
Homestay Coordinator to assist with accommodation and a
Guidance Counsellor to assist with any personal problems. If
required, we also use bilingual counsellors.
The school arranges accommodation with New Zealand families.
International Students
Onslow has always welcomed international students and we
currently have students from about 20 countries.
Approximately 11 percent of our students come from
non-English speaking backgrounds. Some are international
students and others live permanently in New Zealand. Twice a
year a summary of each international student’s academic
progress is translated and sent to their families.
