Location and Facilities
CPIT’s main campus is based in the centre of Christchurch- a
beautiful cosmopolitan city with a population of around
400,000, located in the heart of the spectacular South
Island. Close to cafes, shops and entertainment, the campus
is a vibrant and busy place of learning. As well as a gym,
bookshop, cafeteria, community radio station and
international satellite television, CPIT offers all the
services and facilities you would expect at a major tertiary
institution, including an international welfare officer,
International Admissions team, library services, learning
services, health care centre, 24 hour computer access and
free email, careers centre and etc.
Accommodation and Welfare
Staff in the accommodation office are available to help,
support and advise students on accommodation options and
issues. These range from the types of accommodation
available in Christchurch to assistance with tenancy
problems and disputes. Homestay accommodation can be
arranged with approved Christchurch families. This is highly
recommended if you are visiting New Zealand for the first
time.
